US Grade A Amber Rich
Essential to our production of Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup are 10 gallon Northern Oak Barrels, coopered in Avon MN, sourced from a small batch Bourbon distillery nestled in the Rocky Mountains. At the distillery the barrels are heavily charred and the Bourbon left to age in them for a year. We repurpose those barrels by filling them with our 100% Pure Wisconsin Maple Syrup. The syrup is aged until we have the correct balance of Maple and Bourbon flavor. If you appreciate Bourbon, or a Wisconsin Old Fashioned, you are certain to love our Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup. This syrup is perfect on pancakes with butter (Wisconsin of course) and a side of bacon or sausage. Also enjoy it as a dessert topping, added to marinades and sauces, ideal sweetener in your coffee, lattes and of course an Old Fashioned. Pure perfection!
